Live Feed Update – 07/14 3:15pm BBT

Jase is by the pool and is talking to someone (hard to identify). He talks about what he researched on the internet before coming to the BB5 house and he think that there might be a mole inside the house, working for Big Brother. This could be interesting...

Scott and Michael are talking in the HoH Room and Scott tells Michael they should talk everyday and not get caught in the "bull crap" outside. Scott thinks Drew is starting to ally with Diane, and therefore ditching the Four Horsemen. I hope he does leave. Also, Scott realizes getting a girl out is pivotal.

Still, Mike will be leaving this week. Jennifer, as the "pawn," does have a chance to be evicted Thursday night; however, I still don't believe that she is leaving.

 THE DAILY SCOOP™

Volume 2, Issue 4

By James m. (Wednesday, July 14, 2004 – Day 13 in BB House)

[WARNING: Possible Spoilers follow…]

I would grade last night’s Big Brother 5 episode as a B. There were too many repeat storylines. I know there are only so many stories inside a house, but the producers need to start getting more creative with editing.

Jennifer is told she is "okay," as said by Scott and Jase; although, she knows that nothing in the house is for sure. Karen: "now the game has finally begun."

Mike tells Marvin that he was supposed to go, if Mike wasn't put up. Mike thinks he can stay if he can get everyone in the house to turn on Scott and Jase. Mike goes to a group sitting area, but everyone is afraid to be even associated with him because, if they are, they are afraid for their place in the house. Jase tells us, in the Diary Room, that Diane was last because she talked to The Don (Mike). He must feel lonely.

Adria gives fitness classes to the other females. As the workout continues, Marvin watches calls Adria "big bootylicious." I hope she does what Danielle of BB3 did: offer daily classes around 7pm ET. That way, everyone watching can do the workout with the HGs. (This was a crazy thing I did when watching the BB3 live feeds two year back. It was a way to keep in shape.)

Mike lashed out to Scott and, as Lori put it, was being a sore loser. He’s just been making the target on his back bigger and bigger. It will be very easy for the other HouseGuests to vote him out.

Holly is, and always will be, ditsy. End of story. Marvin thinks that she is the smartest [woman] in the house. Will: "Holly has made her own reality."

Again, Michael and Jennifer trust each other, yet they do not talk too much, in order to make sure no one thinks an alliance has been brewed or is brewing. Michael doesn't want Nakomis to leave yet.

The pre-Veto meeting is held. Jase explains new twist for "golden veto." This year, only six people will compete: the nominee, HoH (Head of Household), and three others, each chosen by the former. Mike immediately picks Holly, knowing of her lack of ability to win any physical activity.

Jase tells Mike that he and Scott are not allied. Mike even says asked Jase if he would pick Scott to be his partner tomorrow for the PoV comp. Jase said nothing and even swore on his mother’s grave that Scott and him were not allied. Jase goes on to say, in the DR (Dairy Room), that he will rest easier, if that is possible in the house, after Mike is gone.

Scott, Jase, Drew, and Michael talk in the kitchen talk about Will's sexuality. Marvin said that he knew about Will's secret all along. Whatever!

"Mike is a very intelligent, articulate man." Will said in the Diary Room. Mike said that he doesn't care that Will is gay. They have a nice conversation about something nobody cares about. Isn’t that what the Big Brother House is for? Oh wait, I remember. Mike and Will talked about gay marriages. Mike is conservative and Will is not so it was an interesting conversation. Will: “His talk can match his walk.” (Will talking about how Mike held his conversation and that he was well researched.)

Finally, food came back, until the next food competition. Holly said that when she walked into the room, she was about to cry. Drew described the moment as "it was like seeing an oasis in a desert."

Adria and Diane said that they see the game as Battle of the Sexes. Adria: "It's like chess. You've gotta look one step ahead." If Diane wins HoH, she says that she will put two guys up. If one of them is taken off with the PoV (Power of Veto), then she will put another guy up. Plain and simple.

The Golden Veto competition has arrived. The chosen three will be: Scott (chosen, of course, by Jase), Holly (chosen by Mike), and Drew (by Jennifer). It is called "Flamingo Toss." There were four islands, called zones. The game was like 21, in basketball. The players attempted to "ring a flamingo," get a colored ring around one of the flamingos. Drew went first and got one very close. Mike got into the third zone so Drew was eliminated, letting down his "Four Horsemen" (the name of his alliance with the other guys, formerly known as Knights of the Roundtable). Mike did really well. Then, he challenged Jase, knowing he was now the only competition for Mike. Further on in the game, Scott told Jennifer NOT to go against him. Jase and Scott made it to the finals. Scott wanted the veto because he wanted "equal" power with Jase so Scott won. Lori, calling Jase and Scott "The Powerhouse," was mad that Scott won. Lori, Adria, and Jennifer are going head-to-head with the guys. They are hoping Will will come to their side. They said they wouldn’t ask him to join the girl alliance, but just get Scott and Jase out. Diane angers Will, making him feel that he will be dropped as soon as the other guys are out of the house. ("We'll take you and Drew as far as we can," Diane told Will.) Drew goes on to tell Jase about the three and the alliance of girls was revealed to Jase, who thinks that he has the "only real alliance."

Time for Jennifer to change her hair: now, it's Easter Green.

Scott contemplates using the PoV. The Don might be taken off and replaced by Adria. Scott, however, decided not to use the veto. During the meeting, Scott labeled Jase and him as "we," making clearer that Jase and Scott are trying to control the game. Diane: "the girls will be interfering with their plan very, very soon."

Mike, if he stays, will make sure Jase and Scott will be evicted.

It will be very interesting to see who will go LIVE tonight. Let's just hope that Julie will be wearing a reduced amount of glitter tonight, and that Mike will be saying goodbye.

OPINIONS…

As I said above, Big Brother’s storylines are getting monotonous. I know that only so many stories and angles can be covered, but it seems like I’m watching the same show I did last year, just with a change of cast. The music is the same, the logo and theme are the same, and there is no cool twist yet. Twins switching to mess up the players?! What good is that going to do? I guess I will just have to hope for the best. However, the new twist on the veto makes the competition a little more biased and straightforward. I like this.

I know one thing for sure, Big Brother’s theme and logo will need to change for next year or else, I’m afraid, it will lose its edge. Let’s just hope that I have seeing a mirage and nothing bad will happen and everything will work out.

Also, I hope the rumor that “Julie Chen and Les Moonves Engaged” is not true. Isn’t that bad that Julie will be marrying her, ultimate boss. I know that Les heads the entertainment division of CBS and Ms. Chen works for the CBS news division, but man I don’t know. If she gets married, we not be able so much glitter and chic clothing from her on the show. Just think: Julie Moonves??? I hope she, at least, doesn’t change her last name.

MY PREDICTIONS…

Mike is gone and (maybe, just maybe) one of the girls (NOT Holly) will win the LIVE HoH competition.

THE CURRENT SCOOP…

Week One: HoH – Jase; Nods – Mike and Jennifer; POV – Scott (didn’t use it); Twins Natalie and Adria were exposed in the Diary Room plotting; Plus, everyday it seems like someone else in the house has a twin (this could get interesting); sign-up for the CBS.com Fantasy League and you could win a prop from the show (this is cool, but maybe not as nice as a brand new car, oh well), more to come in tomorrow’s edition. Bye for now.

 THE DAILY SCOOP™

Volume 2, Issue 3

By James m.  (Friday, July 09, 2004 – Day 8 in BB House)

[WARNING: Possible Spoilers follow…]

I would grade last night’s Big Brother 5 episode as an A+.

The episode started with Jase claiming his HoH (Head of Household) Room. Karen didn’t seem very happy that Jase won, but Scott thought it was awesome. “It’s great! Fear me!” Scott said in the DR (Dairy Room). I can say that I love the new HoH Room. It’s bigger and better. Jase’s favorite part of the room was the picture of his dog, Poppycorn.

Michael felt he needed to tell someone about his relative in the house; he felt the best person to tell was his alliance buddy and HoH Jase. Michael proceeded to tell Jase and Scott about his half-sibling and asked for their help. Jase, from the start, thought Michael was lying, thinking that Michael needs help since he is HoH. Jase then got a few of the other guys and they are told. Marvin and Drew thought it was crazy as well. Next, Jase decided to get to the bottom of the situation and got Jennifer from the bathroom. Even Jennifer, when told, is skeptic, assessing that the guys are messing with her. Jase, making a joke in the DR, said that he is glad Jennifer and Michael didn’t “get together.” He thinks that a group meeting needs to be called so he gathers the uninformed HGs into the Living Room. The reaction by Will: “Michael and Jennifer deliver this Jerry Springer-ish news that they are in fact brother and sister?” Michael and Jennifer are then called into the DR and got letters from their father. Jennifer read her letter and the father is really excited and sees positive things coming from this. Michael also read his letter. “I hope you are excited… to start a new life and a wonderful journey,” the letter says. Everyone was amazed.

In the front hallway, the guys gathered and were still skeptical, thinking Jennifer and Michael, some how, are in it together and made the whole thing up. Marvin even said in the Dairy Room, “You are guilty until proven innocent, in this house.”

Now, it was time for the first luxury competition. Jase decided that the guys would get dresses up like women, in panties and thongs. “Drew had quite a sexy thong on for his little, round, apple-dumpling behind,” Karen described Drew in his effeminate wear. All of the guys dressed up (or should I say stripped down), except for Mike.

The competition was like an amusement park, called “Margarita Madness.” This was the HGs one and only change to win the hot tub. The rules were that the HGs had to make a huge BB Margarita. They had 10 minutes to complete the challenge. During the game, Scott’s commentary from the Diary Room was heard. He was really impressed with Mike and Will. Holly made a ditzy comment during the game. She said that she looks great in her silver hard hat. At the end, Michael dove in the margarita and got the key, securing victory for the house! Scott called Michael the “Fruit of the Loom poster child,” regarding Michael’s lime costume. The great thing about winning, besides the hot tub, was the Mexican feast that followed later on in the day. The HGs got a slew of delicious items. Some complained that Marvin ate too much, but in the DR, Marvin responded, “Look! I’m 215 pounds. I need something to (darn) eat. I’ll tell yah who’s got the advantage here: your skinny, anorexic, white women. They don’t eat any of their (darn) weight!” Marvin is so funny. His strategy: “You appeal to the hedonistic factor in people. When you can make them laugh, make them feel food, they feel relaxed. Everything’s going to plan, right now.”

Scott, Jase, and Michael were talking in the HoH Room. They plan for HoH after Jase. The list is as follows: Scott, Michael, Drew, and (hopefully) back to Jase. They plan to shoot off all of the HGs.

Big Brother, after the commercial break, revealed the new spy-ware to Jase (in the HoH room). Jase immediately went and told Drew, Scott, and Michael about it. This definitely changes the way the HoH can rule the roost.

Jase told us in the DR last night that he is multi-faces, having different faces for every HG. Mike is not connecting and Jase thought Mike is untrustworthy. Mike didn’t help the situation by allying with Diane (wanting honest people) and then telling Drew about it. Mike especially screwed himself when he told Drew that Diane and he were “solid.”

Before the nomination ceremony, Jase had a meeting to explain the process (I talked about this exact meeting in the earlier Daily Scoop™.) Adria’s stomach dropped during this meeting and here is what some of the HGs thought of nominations: Lori: “Nerve-raking;” Diane: “Not trusting anyone;” and Holly: “No assumptions.” I must add that this year’s key box is high tech and sweet. When the keys are put in the box and turned, the number of the slot lights up. How cool is that?

Here is the order of the way the keys were pulled out at the unnerving ceremony:

Holly, Will, Karen, Drew, Marvin, Scott, Michael (“Cowboy”), Lori, Adria, and Diane. The names that were not pulled: Mike and Jennifer. Jase blamed “The Don” (Mike) for being too professional and for forming alliance behind his back and not confronting him. He tells Nokomis (Jennifer) that he didn’t get to know her as well as he would have wanted, etc.

We’ll find out on Tuesday who will get the PoV and what the new twist will be on it. (Of course, we will let you know early so stay here for the latest.)

Keeping the PoV (Power of Veto) away from Mike is crucial. Let’s hope he doesn’t get it.

OPINIONS…

I must say how impressive this edition of Big Brother is. Last night’s episode confirmed that when, halfway through the show, the producers cut to a shot of the full moon rising over the façade of the house, followed by a camera moving through the empty living room, accompanied by dramatic and stressful music. This was the coolest piece of cinematography I have seen on Big Brother, especially of the FOTH (front of the house), EVER. This changed the feel of the proceeding scene on the show. I loved it! Keep it up BB producers!

MY PREDICTIONS…

I believe Mike will go. While Jennifer (Nokomis) has semi-ostracized herself, I do not believe that it will get her evicted. Mike is by far the only HG I never see talk to another HG. He keeps to himself and that can worry people. Plus, I am not a big fan of Mike; he is too quiet. At least Jennifer talks and gets involved in conversation, more in depth than The Don (Mike).

THE CURRENT SCOOP…

Week One: HoH – Jase; Nods – Mike and Jennifer; PoV – TBD (looks like comp. is sometime today); Food Competition happened last night and the HGs won (considering they are now eating food), more to come in later editions. Bye for now.

For a much more intense summary go to the official CBS website. (CBS.com/BigBrother)

EditorialIs Marvin Serious?

Earlier this morning (Friday, July 9) on the Live Feed, Marvin was heard, in the hot tub, saying that he was ready to leave the game. When the guys around him asked if he was serious and if he would leave voluntarily, Marvin confirmed that he wanted to leave.

Note: I am telling you this upfront because I believe you should know what was said and heard. It could just be a practical joke, as Marvin can be a jokester; however, I am not sure what to make of this. If you have any insight, please contact us.

Live Feed Update – 12:15am BBT

About an hour ago, Jennifer and Adria were talking, while playing chess. This was not just a chess lesson, but a strategic game strategy session (as always).

Jennifer told Adria that her and Michael are waiting for post-BB5 to really get to know each other. Inside the compound, it's just too much game play and they can't focus on each other.

Also, Jennifer and Adria decide to start banding the girls together to fight off the guys. They said that they need to get Jase and Scott off. "Take out the king and queen." Karen and Diane later joined in on the conversation and they decide to get the girls into an alliance, except for Holly because she is a variable that is hard to predict. They are also going to get Will into their group.

In the bathroom, around 12:20am BBT, Jase, Eric, and Karen are chatting. Karen tells the two guys that Lori is not to be trusted; she is a blabbermouth.

 THE DAILY SCOOP™

Volume 2, Issue 2

By James m. (Thursday, July 08, 2004 – Day 7 in BB House)

[WARNING: Possible Spoilers follow…]

Well, it has been very fun watching the 24/7 Live Feeds. I always have fun listening and watching the HGs while I am working on the PC. The conversations are very fascinating; however, every time they get really good or funny, Big Brother cuts to the fish tank. I’m not a real big fan of this because the sound of the tank makes me, naturally, need to go to the bathroom. One of the many, clean conversations included one with Will and Jennifer. They went over colors. Both agree that their favorite color is green. Will hates orange, thinking oranges (as well as yellows) washes him out, when wearing. He likes to wear red and hates wearing purples. Jennifer hates red and likes to wear natural colors (peaches and browns). Of course, this conversation only lasted a few minutes before Big Brother changed to another group of chitchatting HouseGuests. This is one qualm I have when watching the Live Feeds, either a feed is changed because of content or the fish tank is put up to censor what’s happening inside the house.

Also, I want to pass along two nicknames for two of the HGs, if you missed them: “The Don” for Mike and “Nicomus” for Jennifer.

After nominations last night (see below for spoiler), the two HGs were moping around, especially one of them. I thought Jase did a funny thing when he, earlier in the day, called a house meeting to over the nomination process. At the meeting, he was going over the rules and said that “three Houseguests will be nominated for eviction… no… I’m just kidding;” Jase caused a minor uproar in the house for a few seconds. The other HGs must have thought that was crazy. Even I thought that would be very interesting to have three on the block.

Tonight, there is another grand episode of Big Brother 5. It will air on CBS 8e/7c p.m. The nominations will be officially announced then.

Note: There will NOT be a Saturday episode of BB5 this week. The Amazing Race (encore of premiere) and 48 Hours will both be 90-minutes long and take up the whole Saturday-night timeslot. BB5 will be back on Tuesday at 9:00pm EDT.

MY PREDICTIONS…

Well, I will tell you my predictions of who I think will go next Thursday and the Power of Veto (PoV) hoopla in Friday’s edition of the Daily Scoop™.

THE CURRENT SCOOP…

Week One: HoH – Jase; Nods – Mike and Jennifer; POV – We’ll find out (probably Sunday), more to come in tomorrow’s edition. Bye for now.

 THE DAILY SCOOP™

Volume 2, Issue 1.5

By James m. (Wednesday, July 07, 2004 – Day 6 in BB House)

[WARNING: Possible Spoilers follow…]

I would grade last night’s Big Brother 5 episode as an A. It is Day 6 in the Big Brother house and Project DNA is a go!

Julie Chen, the host, greets us and before the HouseGuests (HGs) are introduced; she informs us that this season (like BB4's "X-Factor") is "Project DNA: Do Not Assume," also named this because some of the HGs are related, by blood, but have never known.

The HouseGuests appear and form a clump right in front of the house. Julie says hi and tells them they will be split into three groups, to enter the house. After the first two groups are in, the third comes through the front door and Will, one of the members of group three, sees the Cement Room and tells the other three that, sadly, this is their room.

The HGs settle in and get to know each other. Right from the start, they all think that Jennifer is really weird. She tells them they should call her "Nicomus," meaning 'Daughter of the Moon.'"

The first challenge was a twisting DNA-like structure that spun while the HouseGuests had to climb across a ladder on the inside. This flipped them upside down and messed with their balance. Their goal was to retrieve yellow balls with a specific food item written on it, such as filet mignon. Michael started and did quite well. Holly was the only one to not complete the challenge in the allotted time period (75 seconds). Some of the items grabbed were mixed nuts, milk, lobster tails, filet mignon, among many others. After the game finished, Julie Chen told Lori to open her golden orb labeled "lobster tails." She opened it and found a key that lead to a box containing $10,000. Julie then told Lori that it was hers to keep, BUT there was a catch. (This is the same old decision every HouseGuest has had to make over the years: the decision to benefit himself/herself and hurt the other HGs.) If Lori took the ten grand, then every HG would have to eat PB&J for the WHOLE week. (This would not be a great way to start out the season, let me tell you.) After the commercial, Julie then told the HGs that if Lori didn't take the money, everyone else would have had a chance to acquire the money. Lori asked everyone and, of course, they told her to "take it," etc., but you KNOW that some were bitter. Scott was not very happy, as was Marvin. Marvin, in the Diary Room, said he might be looking like Whitey Houston at the end of the season, eating only peanut butter and jelly. Lori says that she didn't think it would affect her standing, by taking the money.

Will told Lori, in confidence, that he was gay. She was surprised and he told her that he was going to wait to pull out the ”gay card” until the right time appeared. It looks like Lori and Will might be allying.

Day two arrives… Marvin didn't sleep much; his cot broke. Immediately, it looks like the masculine guys -- Drew, Scott, Michael, and Chase -- formed an alliance (a.k.a. Knights of the Round Table), as everyone was trying to figure out alliances.

Karen, Lori, and Will form another alliance. Though, Will and Lori have a stronger bond.

At 8:50pm, Julie continued to talk about Project DNA. She reveals that Michael is the half-brother of Jennifer. Michael has never met his real father. Both were born in Houston, Texas.

During the outside chattering the next day, the HGs talk about their last names and Michael hears Jennifer's last name and where she is from. He is stricken with curiosity about Jennifer's father's last name. After minutes of talking with her, he realizes that he is her brother. He speaks with her and finds out that she always wanted a bigger brother. Now, she has one.

Before going to commercial break, Julie teases us that the twist is far from over and that she would reveal another part of it later.

Because of the 90-minute premiere, more content needed to be added so the first HoH (Head of Household) competition was held. In the backyard were six treadmills ("treadmills of terror"). Questions are asked to the Talkers, while the Walkers will walk on the treadmills. Correct questions keep the Walkers at the same speed, but incorrect answers speed up the walking machines. The catch is that behind the treadmills is a pit of mud. Adria and Marvin are the first to good. Luckily, Adria doesn't get too muddy. Mike and Jennifer are the next to go. (Mike getting into the pit.) Diane (Walker) and Holly are next.

Three teams are left and every five minutes, the treadmills' speed will increase until maximum is reached. Whichever HG to remain walking/running will be the one to win HoH. Michael then falls. Karen and Scott are the final two. It is now just a matter of time. Karen reveals that she is a runner that trained to run 7.5 miles at a time. Karen bites the dust; Scott wins. Will now has to participate, since he volunteered to sit out. He asked Jase a question about himself and if he got it right, he would be the first HoH. He got it right! He is now HoH.

Five minutes to go and Julie tells us that one of the HGs has a twin that will switch with him/her during the competition to stir up the house. From the HGs speaking earlier, we learned that Drew was a twin, as was Adria. On-line, I have learned the three sets of twin are: Ben/Drew, Diane/Lindsay, and Adria/Natalie. One of them could be chosen for the twist.

We find out that the next LIVE show is July 15th. Next Tuesday, we learn about the new twist on the Power of Veto (PoV). It is very surprising that, at the end of the premiere, they didn't go back into the house for the final credits. They had the credits outside, in front of the house.

It should be a very interesting season....

OPINIONS…

The only problem that I find with this bunch of people is that a lot of them have similar characteristics, especially the age similarities. It is almost hard to tell them apart. While I am attempting to master their names, it is proving more difficult when watching them because of these analogous characteristics. Well, I’m sure I’ll be able to figure out who’s who shortly.

MY PREDICTIONS…

Because of Jennifer being the considered-outcast, I am afraid Jase will take a stab at her and put her up. I know that Drew, Michael, and Scott won’t be nominated because of aforementioned alliance. The only guy I can see going up on the chopping block would be Marvin because he seemed to be a control freak on premiere night; this can drive people insane. Holly seems a little annoying, but she’s a model and very pretty. She’s not leaving so quickly.

With the recent findings by Michael, I wouldn’t be surprised if he tried to rally for Jennifer, but he is in an alliance and whatever is best for the group and not for him is the way it must be. I guess we’ll just have to wait a few days.

THE CURRENT SCOOP…

Week One: HoH – Jase; Nods – We’ll find out soon; POV – We’ll find out this weekend; Hot tub has already been won; Note: you can also sign-up for the Fantasy League (go to http://www.cbs.com/primetime/bigbrother5/fantasy/), more to come in tomorrow’s edition. Bye for now.

By James m. (Wednesday, June 30, 2004)

Welcome back to our Big Brother 5 coverage. If you have any qualms about my reporting or our website, click “contact us” below and I will try to fix the problem(s).

So, today was the day that CBS decided to announce this year’s HouseGuests. It seems like it took them forever; however, last year, we didn’t find out until late Thursday night on Entertainment Weekly’s website and the Early Show didn’t show us the contestants until Friday morning. Lately, it seemed like CBS would be announcing the HGs at any time, considering all of the rumors going around that the Early Show would air a house tour, etc. I have been really bummed out about that tour. Every year, seeing the house tour is, for me, the best part about the preceding weeks before the premiere. I always like seeing what the decorators did with the house. This year, I haven’t seen quality video or pictures of the house yet and I am already disappointed. The lack-luster bathroom lost its once romantic and intelligent feel. Now, it is just made up of light and airy colors that befuddle and annoy. Moving through the house, the new cement bedroom is interesting and is the only room in the house that should look monotonous and dreary. It is the bunker of the house. If there is bomb threat I know where I would go. Walking down the hall, you enter the kitchen area. This year, it is a full kitchen with two ovens, a full refrigerator, larger island (with stools), and a great countertop. The table and chairs are not as cool as last year’s retro ones, but I guess they work. (Note: this is the problem with this year’s house; there is no concurrent theme, no carpet on the walls, no yellow odd-shaped chairs. Though, it is fashionable and trendy.) Going from the kitchen/dining room to the living room you see living creatures, in a fish tank at least. (Every year, the house needs some type of animal. In past years the animals were lizards, turtles, and even a pig.) The living room is nicely decked-out; although, there is really odd contemporary “things” hanging on the walls. It is a step up from the circular seating from last year. The other bedrooms are nice, but (again) not as good as last year. The wood room is nice and looks comfortable. The cloud room is sort-of odd, but I guess you could get past it and enjoy sleeping on a cloud. The diary room’s design is still a mystery. I saw a small picture of the walls in the ET house tour and that was it. Hopefully, it will be less boisterous as last year. The Head of Household room is said to be nice, and it is said to have spy ware inside for the HoH to spy on the other HGs. Outside in the backyard, I am happy with the change. I was never an amateur basketball viewer, especially in the Big Brother house. I am glad it was removed and now one of my favorites sports, golf, now is involved. (I just hope tennis, my favorite sport, will be included next year.) The pool is still there and the whirlpool is still a winnable item. Overall, the house is nice and every year, the changes make the game a little more interesting and change the environment so that the HGs might get a hostile/ unnerving feeling.

Also today, the HouseGuests were announced. This group looks quirky and young. There is no 58-year-old father figure like BB4. The oldest guys in the house, Mike and Marvin, are 41 and 36, respectively. The oldest woman in the house, Karen, is 30. Wow! Where are the mommy-like Danielles (BB4) or Loris (BB3). I want people in the house with experience who can pass their wisdom down, like Gerry (BB3). Oh well. The bunch looks cool.

I have a game for everyone reading….

I want everyone to guess who is the gay guy in the house. Sometimes, finding this man is harder than one might think. (Note: I am not trying to bully anyone or even say that some are inferior to others. I think it would be an interesting way to see who just has a feminine side and who is homosexual.) BB5BBQ.com has given a list of everything we know so far: There will be 2 houseguests who are related, but don't know it; There will be a fish tank; The house has been redecorated, but not redone; The windows in the sky bedroom are closable for privacy; The bedrooms are sky room (nice), wood room (not so nice), cement room (hellish); The houseguests have been chosen because they are all polar opposites in their opinions... they have different political views, etc.; The HoH will have more power than ever and will be able to change the game fundamentally every week, even beyond picking people to kick out; The HoH bedroom has gone spy-tech and therefore the HoH will be able to spy on the other HGs; The PoV is being changed so that "pure and open hearted people" will be more likely to benefit from it, and it will be more involved; Prize is still $500,000; There will be 13 houseguests, 7 men and 6 women; more to come in tomorrow’s edition. Tonight: Entertainment Tonight will be doing something on Big Brother 5. Tune in! Bye for now.
