Fan Site Report  - BBExtraTV: Live debuts

BigBrotherExtra TV: Live was a success in its premiere broadcast on Thursday, June 30. With every broadcast, there are technical difficulties. This was no different for the impressive launch. Matt and Brian (WeLoveBigBrother.com) offered insight into the Big Brother world, while taking calls and used improvisation well during technical difficulties. Matt had to leave prematurely due to a tornado warning in his home area. But the show went on.

The question asked to most of the callers was how they felt about audience interaction. Most felt that there was a lack in audience participation and interaction. One caller talked about a lack of true drama in recent seasons. Her point: a more diverse age group would mean natural disturbances, thus, more drama, as seen in the early Big Brother seasons.

The premiere broadcast had a record 75 viewers, something unimaginable from last season, since the radio division only had a max of 50 listeners. The 76th person couldn’t view into the live stream because the account was max out, but that will change for next week so more can view and less problems will occur.

The next broadcast will be a half hour before the east coast premiere, 7:30pm ET on Thursday, July 7th. Erika from season four will be one of the guests. It is recommended.

For an overall review: Brian needs to work on his social and journalism skills, since Matt is swimming laps around him. They are a good team, with Brian at the controls. Gentlemen, keep up the good work. Other than that, it looks to be a very interesting season with so many fan sites involved.
